I noticed kpop idols put on fake moles as part of their look for performances.

Someone else already mentioned it, but virustotal can check if the url is malicious. It’s not 100% of course but more often than not it will catch a malicious url. It’s a quick and easy way to check on-the-fly.

Oh man this reminds me to make it again. We usually make kimchi or sundubu jjigae, but it might be nice to doenjang once in a while.

Wow, an anime character couldn’t even crack the top 10.

Tywin Lannister (Game of Thrones)

Yeah, cheap area will likely be a not-so-desirable place, unless you’re the type who likes to live in the boonies.

I have it too but I’ve since moved on to using rdx. It’s actually a hard client instead of a safari extension. Can’t login and post/comment though, and it only works for browsing/lurking, which is what I mostly do nowadays.

While I also do not like what he’s been saying recently, this time he’s actually right. If you read the article, he’s saying Switzerland trying to enact laws that will force VPNs to collect and store user data will be akin to what Russia is doing. And that Proton can’t operate in a country that does that and they will have to move.

So I read the article. It appears he failed to submit a required document for when you marry a US citizen. And the rules state that if you fail to file it, you can be subject to removal. Having said that, the form says you can file an appeal in a written explaination if it was of no fault of your own or due to some extraordinary circumstance that you failed to file that document.

Now with the current administration, I’m not sure if filing that appeal at this stage would do anything. What the case manager said was also true, that if it was the previous administration, he might have been given more leeway to rectify the error.

The article also doesn’t state if he had an immigration attorney guide him through the process, and I suspect he didn’t and he was doing all his immigration paperwork by himself and it was an unfortunate error of not being completely aware of all the steps of a very complicated process.

I’m not trying to argue with you, just providing some context.

IMO the Pacers are more capable than the Knicks to go toe-to-toe with the Thunder. I’m a neutral in this series and I love how close the games are, but if OKC ends up going to the finals, I’d rather the Pacers take them on.

Yeah, if its brains were everywhere, it wouldn't be able to walk to the river let alone on two legs.

Does anyone know of a lemmy app that’s backward compatible and works on older IOS devices? I have an older iPad running IOS 12.5.7. Obviously I can just use the browser or a webapp but I wanted to check if there was an app.

I was able to install Liftoff before but it has stopped working since.

So I already have a front dashcam (Blueseasky) and it's fine, does what it's supposed to. I want to upgrade to a dual-camera (front and back facing) dashcam, similar to the ones used on rideshares, but something that can be mounted on the actual dashboard. I want to avoid running wires along the headliner and frame, so I prefer to mount my dashcam on the actual dash.

It works for my current dashcam because it's cylinder shaped and the camera lens can be rotated. So I just use a small square of 3M automotive tape to mount it, rotate the lens so it’s angled correctly, then just let the wire run down the side of the infotainment screen and into the 12V port.

Can anyone recommend a good dual-cam dashcam that is flexible enough to adjust the angle of both cameras while it is mounted on the dashboard? Most of the ones I've seen are designed to be mounted on the windshield, so the front-facing camera is typically fixed and faces the road correctly only if it's mounted there. The only way I see this can be possible is if it's a cylinder design with one camera on each end and both rotate.

One of the best things that came out of the Arcane animated series is this song. They just released an official music video for it.

Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s All You Need Is Kill, known for its groundbreaking time loop concept and powerful narrative of growth, played a pivotal role in the time loop sci-fi phenomenon. This iconic novel, which was later adapted into a global hit film, is now being reimagined as an anime. With a perfect blend of traditional animation techniques and cutting-edge visual technology, STUDIO 4℃ will be handling animation!

-From the description. The movie Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt is based on the original novel.

Sister band of Thank You Scientist, of which they now share a vocalist with, aside from the bassist.

Fun fact - this was Die Antwoord, Ninja specifically, before they became Die Antwoord.

Are they basically just there to shoot down the plane before causes larger casualties by crashing into a heavily populated area? I can't imagine what else a jet can do to a large commercial aircraft in the air.

I only go on there nowadays for my city’s sub and r/nba. I logged on yesterday while I was on a vpn and found out today that my account as suspended due to “unusual activity”. I didn’t register an email when I created that account. Welp, bye bye to that account then.

I have two SSIDs on my home wifi, one for the 2.4GHz band and one for the 5G band. I noticed that my phone is giving me a Privacy Warning ("This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic"), but only when connected to the 5G network. I use Mullvad's DoH profile on my phone and my router also points to Mullvad as the DNS provider. As far as I can tell, both networks are configured the same, except for the 2.5GHz network having an extra 20/40 MHz Coexistence setting (that is enabled). And even then, I don't understand how my network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic, let alone only on one band. Anyone have an idea what's going on?

EDIT: Never mind, I rebooted my phone and it went away. We had an ISP outage and my phone just connected to my network after it was restored, so I guess there was some random bug.
