I think if there were more cyclists that bike rage could be a thing too. You touched on it in your reply. It's the endangerment. The threat to self and property.

Definitely with cars, the property and safety issues are magnified, so I think that all things being equal, if we magically had bikes as primary transport you'd still see road rage, but less than with cars.

You know this made me think that it's probably the case that while they think what the Democrats are doing are bringing them further away from their religion, really it's what the Republicans are doing that's the most damaging to that relationship.

Ironic huh?

Imagine if the bubba email was Epstein knowing this would eventually happening and playing the long game, trolling Trump.

Hmm.

America will never look out for the workers. The workers have to unionize. Probably even the H1B employees. I think until that happens, we're going to see wages stagnate and fail to keep up with inflation.

Unfortunately people are so cowed by their employees and the system that they won't unionize.

Personally this is why I think we don't have universal healthcare and basic social support systems. They would enable us to negotiate.

Your right. Prediction was too strong a word. Good looking out.

Same. My wife doesn't want to be far away from family.

I've got 2 kids and I want them to have a better life.

I've looked into emigrating and I'm afraid I just don't have the spoons for it either. Between those 2 hurdles, I don't know if it'll ever happen.

Still, there's potential. We both have degrees. I just hope she doesn't become a target. She's a little higher profile.

I'm just hoping it was an /s-less sarcasm. I agree with the point through. Our attention span are shorter and the world always appears to be ending, but I think a lot of that is that along with all the lies and manipulation, we're actually seeing more of 'how the sausage is made' than ever before.

As disastrous as smartphones have been, it's never been easier to collect and instantly share evidence.

This, of course, is not to say that I think we're not supremely screwed right now, and there's still a lot happening in the shadows, but I feel there's definitely an increase of visibility.
