…always? It was “comparable to living as a British colonial subject” prior to decolonization. It’s certainly worse now but always is a weird one.

“Our software is a bloated mess” is not the defence they think it is.

…because if it got better, you don’t know about it?

Unfortunately, the game is only really fun when you’re playing with friends, and we only played a bit before going back to our current “thing”.

It can simultaneously be dumb for him to trust the company and for it to be the company’s fault that he was fed something he specifically asked not to be served.

If a transmissions company tried to spend money preparing for a disaster like this, their shareholders would sue them into the ground and lobby to make it illegal to acknowledge the existence of the sun.

It’s a known glitch on the current patch. You can always block the player, but it’s probably a relic of attempting to force the playstation account integration - they may have intended to handle cheater through sony rather than worry about it themselves.

One of the most interesting details about the Nuremberg trials, which I only learned from the ever excellent Robert Evans on a podcast, is the controversy over how many of the crimes Nazis were executed weren’t really “crimes” - international law wasn’t really a thing, and they weren’t really illegal under German law.

Yet we hung the Nazis anyways, because they were the fuckin’ Nazis. I find this a comforting thought in these times.

If you’re in need of additional fortification, the article on John Clarence Woods might help, the hangman who very incompetently and thus painfully executed nazi leadership - there is also a Behind the Bastards on him, possibly the one that discusses the trials iirc.
