Let me say that I remain, like virtually every member of Solidarity, committed to the idea that we must create an independent working-class political party with a socialist program — though as we know from the experiences of the Labor Party (of the 1990s), now defunct, and the Green Party, the political rules of the game make it extremely difficult to do so. I do not believe, as DSA does, that the left should have a strategic orientation to the Democratic Party, because I believe that decades of attempts to reform or realign that party have failed and there is little likelihood of success in the future. Nevertheless, there's a dang CHEETO running for president!

Having a nice lovely chat over the phone with his BFF, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Anything on the level of influence as a major climate bill?
Well, I can't say I've ever signed a bill that makes oil and gas drilling on public lands a legal requirement for investing in renewable energy, and I also haven't approved more drilling permits on federal land than Trump, but I can say , unfortunately I'm just one person and it's not like I have a platform with 600,000 followers to share my thoughts on it or anything.
I can't imagine how hard it must be to have a debate when you're suffering from jet lag, a cold, a stutter, and a super-science headache ray, all at the same time.

Had to do a double take
The funny thing about this is how liberals have been insisting this whole time that the smol bean president doesn't have any power to stop the genocide.
Uhhhh ugghhh uhhhhh brainsssss

Accelerationists must be having so much trouble deciding who to vote for rn
I'm already seeing libs turn on the NYT. They've drunk so much of the kool-aid of "Any criticism of Biden for any reason is secretly an attempt to get Trump elected" and they've already developed their own BlueAnon lore and they're increasingly disconnected from reality, actively hostile to truth or evidence. With the situation in Ukraine being increasingly hard to deny, it's only going to get worse.
