Its honestly all making me think I should build a palmtop and shove a 5g module in it. Screw text messaging (matrix), screw phone service (I'll just set up VoIP), who needs a play store when ive got apt repos.

I don't care if it feels like 2007 in my pocket. I'll stick an 18650 or two in there and swap it when I need to. I can even be more ridiculous and make the keyboard mechanical.

To answer your question before its asked, yes, there is plenty wrong with me. Still though.

There are explanations of some things in the article (unfortunately I've read them and I wish I had not)

Which can be solved by an additional server.

Boom, problem solved.

applies to ~~most~~ all for profit social media

Business discard pile is my favorite pile!

Welcome to my plan! Ive got a good chunk of change set aside for some tiny/mini/micro to add to the others.

Also looking to pick up some 'new' laptops for me and the kids.

There has to be ports for pickup on the mic, otherwise it won't work. Channeling those openings distorts audio significantly, so likely mounting of an omnidirectional mic is going to be facing downward, mounted below the other unit.

Its safe to assume these are IP67 rated, so a super soaker is out.

Mic is going to be a condenser. Heavy vibration and severe temperature changes (outside of moisture, which... Well see previous) would be the most likely options to explore.

None near me, but a few I can drive by...

Looks right to me! Certainly better than what I'm watching

You should probably see a doctor about that, you might have a serious condition

Much more simple: don't use Meta anything.
