I assume that it’s an offer to use their fabs. Doubt that Apple believes Intel’s roadmaps given their history.

Steam on Linux provides a fixed target set of libraries because it’s kind of hard to release native games on Linux (you have to include a crapload of libraries you expect to be installed otherwise, which Steam solves).

Larian is essentially styling now. Even Valve doesn’t release native ports anymore and went as far as removing some in favour of Proton versions.

My parents ate a swan supposedly, in the 80s, during the most grim times just before communist Poland shit itself and died. I’ve heard it’s pretty bad in the UK these days so the story kind of tracks. Says more about the country than people.

This doesn’t make sense. Even in the wildest dreams nobody is going to mental institution because his/her mother took tylenol during pregnancy for more reasons that I have stamina to list.

I genuinely think RFK is on too many drugs and that he’s in the middle of AI induced psychosis. I say that because he forgot to account for his antivaxxer fans who are having a meltdown now.

Not everybody has those to the same extent. This is like saying „everyone’s a bit autistic” which is just harmful. To meet diagnostic criteria it has to significantly interfere with your day to day. For the NTs who’ll never understand anyway this is about as plain as they can take it.

Phew. This is just insanely dumb but at least they can’t spin it into an eugenics solution.

I don’t think this can work. A threadiverse community is contained by its instance and rules. A hashtag pulls everything from every instance so it’ll get unwieldy fast.

From the threadiverse point of view it would make a bit more sense to be able to follow specific microblog accounts as a way to get that content here. Microblogs (or at least Mastodon) are doing their own equivalent of that already because they can interface with threadiverse communities natively (they’re presented as groups that boost every new post & comment).

The company says it will rely on “legitimate interests” as its legal basis and will offer an opt-out so members can refuse use of their data for training—promising that private messages are excluded.

Is opt-in by default even legal? How are they getting away with this? LinkedIn is absolutely the worst when it comes to introducing new ways of spamming me and every time they do it, which is quite often, I wonder that.

My guess they know the jig is up and they’re establishing a timeline for the future lawsuits.

„Your honour, we didn’t mislead the investors because we’ve only learned of this September 2025.”

We just didn’t get it done. When you always cut it close, sometimes you mess up. That’s the price of being a procrastinator.

How common is standalone dyspraxia, without autism as a comorbidity? I get an impression that DCD is just another tell for neurodivergence. Doubly so because they mention anxiety and exclusion as supposed common consequence.

Learning from insiders that resume spamming barely works and that going to networking events seem to be the preferred option nowadays.

Spamming never worked and I never understood networking but then again I’m autistic. I keep LinkedIn because it’s the recruiters that reach out to me from time to time. My gut feeling is that these days if you already have a job you won’t have trouble getting new one but if you’re unemployed then you’re screwed.
