You can’t give players unlimited time to grow though, in a not so distant future fields has to be paid and QBs get paid big money. If the guy you pay is not THE guy you end up with a Daniel Jones contract that severely puts your time in a bind. Even if Fields is just average it’s hard to put together an amazing team with an average guy on a big contract taking up such a large portion of cap space.

Watson can't really even be called a miss either. Dude was fantastic before his off the field issues and even netted the Texans a bunch of picks.
Idk how you can be positive with ownership still being what they are. They’ll manage to fumble this somehow.
Levis is gonna be a good QB, with we could’ve gotten him last season with that Claypool pick…
Why is this not removed? Mods sleeping. Nobody cares about high school.
We have a good line with Jones, Jenkins, Davis, and Wright. Just need a center and we probably have one of the better lines in the league. Need a new QB to help the whole offense.
If you think there’s a near zero percent chance that we take a QB one then you know nothing about football
Their line was a mess today so this sub would just blame that instead of accurately critiquing the QB play if that was our team
It’s not a joke, just look at a lot of these comments
No move on and let the new coach choose his QB so he can maximize his scheme. Sure fields is ok but he hasn’t been amazing and a new coach may struggle to maximize his strengths.
So what we just stop trying? We just never have a great QB? We gave up a crap ton to get cutler and it didn’t get us anywhere.
People don’t think Caleb Williams is good for a variety of dumb reasons so apparently it is rocket science even though it’s not.
