Yeah, I found out right after posting. For some reason, I just had 18 in my head.

This is a follow-up to my question from yesterday. My “toxic trait” is that long-distance travel is what really excites me, so Europe is off the list. My initial top choice was South Korea, but the drinking age is 19 and I really want to be able to go clubbing, so that’s also off the list.

Japan’s pros are obvious, it’s one of the top travel destinations in the world. The downside for me is that I’ve already been there with my family, so it might not feel as exciting as going somewhere completely new.

China wasn’t even on my radar at first, but then I saw that Swiss citizens can travel visa-free for 30 days between March 14, 2024 and December 31, 2026, which really sparked my interest.

Taiwan is another option, but I honestly don’t know much about it.

I don’t know if it’s wrong to feel this way, but the thought that I’m in a free Western country (Switzerland) right now, and can go on public dates, have a public relationship, show PDA, and be open about it, makes me feel excited, lol.

I called it quits with my boyfriend today on a video call. It had been brewing for a while, and the breakup was very amicable. Instead of feeling angry or sad, I actually feel fresh and excited. I think it’s because we got into the relationship very quickly, and I never really got the chance to explore or “play the field.”

I was chatting with my parents last night, and they said that since we’re stuck in Switzerland and I seem quite bored, and since I’m a legal adult now, why don’t I go on a trip abroad alone? I’m considering it, but I’ve never traveled solo before, so I don’t know.

if you'd skim over my posting history you'd see i've explained my style, approach, and reasons already

i really don't get what the point of comments like this is tho. if i see something i don't like i just keep scrolling. dilute what? this community is already filled to the brim with corny political content.

I’m just asking out of curiosity to hear other people’s perspectives, not because I’m looking for advice. I find it interesting to read different opinions.

I do that all the time, and no, he doesn’t mind.

My male best friend and I have known each other since we were 12, and we both happen to be foreigners in the country we’re living in (I’m from Switzerland, and he’s from India). We’re super close and talk about anything and everything. My boyfriend doesn’t care about it, but he still says that my best friend is just “waiting for his turn with me.” However, he trusts me, and I’m happy, so it’s cool. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a best friend of the opposite gender. I also read a thread on another site about it, and opinions were mixed, so I’m curious what you think.

It’s interesting how negative comments affect me so much more than positive ones. I’ve definitely received far more positive feedback during my time here, but for every 100 positive comments, that one negative one really sticks with me.
