What makes some people go by it/it's?
Everyone’s gonna be different, but the one person I know IRL who goes by it/its is autistic and feels that it/its pronouns appropriately express the way that it as an autistic person has experienced and identified with its own dehumanization. It just feels right with those pronouns.
I am a cat.
Abolishing gender is a start, but why not abolish your humanity for the cold superiority of steel? Dissociation between my internetself and meatself. Funsies.
Because they like it, the same reason anyone would go by a particular set of pronouns over others
I am a binary trans guy but I dislike gendered pronouns as a concept. I also dislike "they" as a gender-neutral pronoun(no offense to people who use it, I don't like using it) so I use the other gender neutral pronoun. It also just goes kinda hard.
Putting things in gendered boxes wears on me to the extent I want to go by it/they/them. I'll go by "she/her" sometimes but it's to embrace the underdog role I have in this patriarchy.
How do you handle it someone calls you "it" in a mean way?
I didn't vote because electoralism is bad or something. I just kinda spaced on it.
Thanks, Obama!
