I'm not sure if I'd be suitable for this job for the following reason:
chat

Thank you and happy chatting!
Ngl homie im just a time thief, but they pay me while I'm looking for other work
I'm down. Want to get out of a "stand on concrete floors" retail job.
Cool, DM me! Think i just need one piece of info from ya
If you already have a job and want to get paid to dick around doing similar things, try to apply for Prolific. You can get about $100-$200 extra a month if you just spend your entire day at work answering academic studies and surveys lol
Cool! I'll check it out! Thanks for the tip
Been on their wait list for over a year :(
Interesting. Do you live in the US? I think i was accepted either a day or a week after I applied
Yeah. I've heard speculation that it's a demographics thing.
Is this something people can do part-time? Like 5-6 hours a week?
As much or as little as you want
DM'd you, this is actually something that could help me out quite a bit.
You can DM on Lemmy?
Yeah you just click on their user handle and there's a message box.
Send Secure Message
Is there E2E???
That's a new feature as far as I'm aware, you'd have to ping an admin maybe to ask.
Hm okay. Thank you, brain worm man.
Anytime.
just stumbled across this. FYI the "secure message" option is just a link to Matrix if the user provided their matrix handle in profile.
Whoa interesting. I don't see the secure message option for people, just "send message". Maybe that's why OP never responded to my DM. Ah well.
What's the structure of the job? Is it part time, and does it have fixed hours? Mturk pays like shit, so I'm actively looking for something else that's supplemental.
It's the same sort of beer money/gig work thing. As much or as little as you want, whenever, pay is a flat rate.
I also work for outlier. Its kinda bullshit because last week my project abruptly ended, then I got added to a new project which also abruptly halted but supposedly will restart this week. So a whole week so far with no tasks. But when the goings good it is nice and flexible and pays.
The pay scales higher if you have more advanced degrees / expertise, so for those who want part time remote work and have a graduate degree its especially worth it. Depending on the project it can actually be pretty interesting and stimulating
The pay scales higher if you have more advanced degrees / expertise
How much higher, roughly?
I started at $45/hr with a PhD in chemistry. The new project is $50/hr with $12.50 bonus per task that makes it past review
What is this? I'd be really interested since my job doesn't pay for shit.
Outlier AI prompt evaluation, basically
Is there any kind of qualification requirements?
I don't remember, it's Outlier AI if you wanna look it up.
Not that I recall but it did ask for a resume. Check their website, I posted their name in other comments!
If you have expertise and/or an advanced degree they pay more
I might be interested, depending on what the hours are like. Are you required to work specific times, and specific numbers of hours? If so, how many?
I also have this question
can i get in on this as well?
Death to America
Yeah DM me
I'd be interested. Is it something that can be nights and weekends or is there fixed times?
Any time you feel like it.
Is that the Appen gig? I applied to that but they didn’t like my answers to the calibration quiz lol
Nope, Outlier
I will take a referral, I’ve been trying to get some supplemental income since my work cut back my hours. Thanks!
They started me at $15/hour and there is hardly any human contact involved unless I have a question about something.
Can you work as much or as little as you like? or would I have to do like 8-hour shifts of this shit?
Is it full time? Does it give benefits?
As much or little as you want, I put in a shit ton last week. No benefits. Just flat rate.
Hey I'd be interested. :)
I could sure use an extra few bucks, lost my job a month or so back and been scraping by on temp work ever since. Website seems to imply international is okay, is that correct?
