Random story but a friend of mine (who's south Asian so not your standard kkk trump supporter) is hoping trump wins because Trump will put money into the stock market and he will benefit. My friend makes 70k a year... This is how completely out of touch people are.

well, logically, if we put like 100 quadrillion dollars into the stock market then the 10% of stocks owned by the bottom 90% will still rise a ton and everybody will become billionaires. What's frustrating is how he's not like my folks, near the same age. They're getting their steps in, adjust to European time as fast as anyone else and one can go full-on Putin with the history lectures, nailing detail after detail with no regard to how late it's getting. And yet the media portrays the concern about his brain being pudding as ageism. It's not about old people in general, it's about this particular old fuck who doesn't know which Biden he is.
Different people are different. I have an 85 year old inlaw who is physically feeble but still has a sharp mind. She has Fox News brainworms, but can hold a conversation and remember things that happened yesterday. She walks slow, but still wins family poker nights.
