The irony is, the only country that has EVER, in Canada's entire history as a nation, shown any intent or interest. either by word or deed, into attacking Canada is ... the United States of America.

No other country has even hinted, ever, that it wants to or will or is planning to attack Canada the Nation.

England and France had a tiff over who would control the land that would be called Canada, and both ended up having a partnership in the new Nation of Canada. After that, they showed no interest. Well, maybe a comment or two from Chuck DeGaul.

Not even in either of the two World Wars.

In fact, it was not until the mid 1940's that America proposed that Canada and the United States should be friends and partners in the military sense. Before that, we always had a healthy fear of the military intentions of America towards us.

And here a slightly different bias

It’s farcical simply based on how outdated the plan is. Sure ICBM’s… Plus the only enemy we had was the US. Pretty dumb to join up with the only country who has threatened us in the past and in the present. Not rocket science, ok it is but still a dumb idea to do anything with the new fascist US.

The inclusion of Canada in his "golden dome" is not to keep Canadians safe. It's to keep support out when he decides to invade Canada. Canada must say NO.

It won't work, because it can't work.

The US is too big and spread out.

It would be insane for Canada to sign up to join, is that a serious discussion in Canada now?

I mean. Y'all did burn down the White House that one time...

Only because the Americans attacked us first.

Okay, I understand now.

Golden dome, regardless of what it is, whether upgraded NORAD monitoring or an actual shield would be magnitudes more expensive without Canada's cooperation.

Another 5-D chess move. The administration's strategy is so sophisticated, no one will ever figure it out!

The US administration strategy is knee-jerk upon knee-jerk upon knee-jerk. They have band-aids patched over leaky band-aids so deep, they forget what the original wound looked like.
