Dumb questions but when i scroll thru lemmy how come i dont find much nsfw stuff. I like not seeing it but when i do see something the community is very small and cursed to say.

Im just used to seeing people spam nsfw type jokes coming from Reddit. Its good that i haven't used Reddit in some time.

Many instances defederate from NSFW communities. Usually not for any kind of censorship, but just so it's not mixing in with regular discourse as much.

Your lemmy instance, leminal.space has defederated from lemmynsfw.com which is by far the largest NSFW-oriented instance.

While true, it's also the case that the NSFW communities are, today, a lot smaller than on Reddit. I think that that's true of pretty much all communities; not something specific to NSFW communities. The population here is just smaller.

@GrumpyCat@leminal.space, this URL will show you what instances your home instance is defederated from.

https://leminal.space/instances

Click the "Blocked instances" tab.

Most of the blocked instances are related to underage anime

"shota" or "loli" feature prominently in those instance domain names

but burggit.moe also has con-noncon content, and lemmynsfw.com is pretty mainstream.

You might either (a) switch home instances if you want to browse NSFW communities or (b) just create a second account on a second instance and use that to browse NSFW, if you're otherwise happy with leminal.space.

It's also possible to filter stuff at the user level if it's tagged correctly as NSFW, but frankly, people don't do a perfect job of that.

There's an entire instance called lemmynsfw.

Have you tried lemmynsfw.com?

[–] stinerman@midwest.social 10 points 2 days ago

Yeah. All I need to do is browse All on Hot and... It's just there. I'm surprised OP hasn't seen it by accident.

"community's" is possessive. English almost never uses an apostrophe to pluralize. If adding an s gives you a red "misspelling line", then you need to do something else.

In this case, you need to drop the y and change it to "ie" before the s.

Communities!

Thanks, it's always good to improve one's language repertoire and fundamentals. Let's hope OP takes it in a good way!

OP is hungry for porn. I think OP will take anything in a good way

as far as literal porn goes, people only want to post it where it can get an exponential following and direct traffic to places like only fans. very very few reddit posters are posting themselves without eventually posting a linktree so to them there's no point if they can't make numbers. which they can't here, we just don't have the userbase

on lemmy though I've seen the Oglaf comic has its own channel, which is kind of fun to spot in the wild. otherwise you kind of have to go looking for communities that will specifically be about "sexual humor", and like you said those are either cursed or dead

If you're only looking for videos of two or more real people fucking, that may be true. But for other kinds of porn (hentai, erotica, audio porn, solo), there seem to be plenty of posters who do it just for the love of the game, so to speak.

Because you touch yourself at night

~~sorry. I had to say that.~~

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 4 points 2 days ago

There's at least 2 NSFW meme communities. And Ass is almost always active and on the FP of All daily.
