Bedroom is a very reasonable realm for smart glasses if they aren't connected to the internet and are used for local recording.
The really weird part is wearing them in public and either recording people without their consent or even giving the clear impression of recording people without their consent. Wearing smart glasses in a public place is just an asshole move.

You'd just be ruining a minimum wage worker's day and possibly traumatizing them. They typically outsource content annotation/moderation so no one important at Meta would be affected.
The better course of action is to continue to ridicule anyone you meet wearing these poorly-disguised surveillance instruments and raise awareness among your peers.

I always make sure to tell my audience to remove any smart glasses. It's just creepy doing it in front of them otherwise.
Any camera/audio device with a wireless connection in your home is recording and storing your intimate moments.
