I hope so. The first one was better and more accurate to D&D than we had any right to expect out of a major movie. Another one would be awesome.

You could really feel when the players/party were just fucking around, annoying the DM.

Also, "Jarnathan!"

I love that the Speak with Dead NPCs voices gradually get less gravelly and intense as the DM gets more and more tired of doing the voice. By the last guy his voice is just talking normally.

Great movies have little stuff like that which makes repeat watches worth it.

The complex riddle of a bridge they need to pass lest their quest be doomed and one person steps on it.

DM panics Uh... roll for perception? Nat 20? Oh! Um this random staff you've been carrying the whole time is actually this magical item that will help you in this one specific spot!

Edit: loved that scene so much I had to link it

The look the paladin gave the one who stepped on the bridge was absolutely the DM looking at the player who messed up what he had spent hours putting together. Let's give him credit for not just saying rocks fall, everyone dies.

Good catch! I didn’t notice it before but I’ll watch for it next time for sure.

Would love to see all the same actors but they play different characters.

I just want to see more Sophia Lillis.

yes please! Honor Among Thieves is a frequent rewatch for me so i would love to see another from these guys. it sounds like the script involves the same party, i was kind of hoping it would be a wholly fresh set of characters but hey, happy with the old faves too for sure.

My hope is for a blockbuster success so we get a series of films in the Forgotten Realms universe.

Having a sequel that does well isn't easy, but with the right script that format can easily work again. There's so much to pull from. I'm surprised (no, I'm not) that Paramount passed on it, unless what they presented wasn't a good fit. The first movie didn't do as well as it should have, but that's because no one knew what it was about and D&D movies don't have a great reputation.
