LMAO. CHUD gets what he wants and then gets bored from lack of brown people to lord over.

Whether fascists want to admit it or not, they need minorities but minorities don't need them. Ergo, making minorities superior to white supremacists.

they largely took it for granted that their immediate universe was a static place where nothing would ever happen.

uhh he left white nationalism to be a normal racist?

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 75 points 1 year ago

"My ideology is based on the idea that every person should be exactly the same without any deviation from my prescribed norms."

"WAIT NO NOT LIKE THAT!"

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 62 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (5 children)

Also what is leaving white nationalism on an emotional level? Like, they're still white nationalist except they don't mind having a few black and brown people around?

The fuck is Faustian individualism? The climax of Faust is him realizing he fucked up when the devil comes to collect.

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 48 points 1 year ago

Wait what? You're not supposed to make a deal with the devil? I thought it just made you just got a cool fiddle at the end. Fuck.

[–] Babs@hexbear.net 40 points 1 year ago (1 children)

In Goethe's version Faust gets away with it.

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 24 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh, that's funny - is white nationalism running around with the idea that deals with the devil are actually awesome?

[–] Babs@hexbear.net 22 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Faust was just such a Chad that the deal didn't take - he asks Mephistopheles to make him so happy that he doesn't want to strive for more, but then doesn't allow himself to be satisfied. Haven't read it since college, but IIRC much of the story is about exactly that kind of rugged individualism sigma grindset shit that so many guys worship.

Maybe it's like if you only put the tip in to white nationalism, but then white nationalism turns into vagina dentata and bites it off and you turn into a full chud hobbit as this guy suggests.

Idk I'm speculating here

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 58 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I'm a Faustian super hero while I'm in my underwear playing Palworld.

[–] blashork@hexbear.net 44 points 1 year ago (2 children)

user reports: Palworld comment.

What's wrong with just mentioning playing palworld? Was this report authored by nintendo's strongest soldier?

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 38 points 1 year ago

I got reported for making a perfect post!

[–] booty@hexbear.net 12 points 1 year ago (2 children)

the world would probably be a slightly better place if no one ever talked about palworld

Ex-manufacturing exurbs are your cultural inheritance as a white burgerlander. Time to live in a neighborhood where every house has a porch but no one is ever sitting on their porch.

[–] itappearsthat@hexbear.net 23 points 1 year ago (1 children)

There are mosquitoes out there, why would I ever sit out there.

[–] DinosaurThussy@hexbear.net 19 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You can get patio netting for pretty cheap. Worth

[–] itappearsthat@hexbear.net 21 points 1 year ago

Yeah I sat in a fully-screened-in lanai for the first time a few months ago and was like holy shit, why would people ever do anything but this

[–] ZoomeristLeninist@hexbear.net 20 points 1 year ago (4 children)

if I had a porch i would be sitting out there drinking cocktails all the time sicko-wistful

Hobbits are happy. Fuck that Nazi.

[–] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 42 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

I wonder how many nazis, specifically the younger kind, are just constantly coping with the fact that their life is not an anime and they aren't going to be isekai'd anytime soon.

[–] NPa@hexbear.net 26 points 1 year ago

I'll help them get isekai'd

[–] axont@hexbear.net 41 points 1 year ago (1 children)

lmao bland crackers out in the Midwest doing absolutely nothing causes Nazi to subject himself to nightmarish psychodrama

Fascist faints at the sight of hotdish.

[–] Egon@hexbear.net 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fascist finds Hobbiton, sides with Saruman but somehow ends up abandoning fascism as well.

The Midwest is like the worst part of America but they have so much sway over the rest of the country it's really fucking annoying.

The other regions of America have their drawbacks but in the MW it's 100% drawbacks. Maybe more precisely, anything "good" you can find there you can find the same or better in another region.

And it's absolutely right to compare them to the hobbits, except in the Midwest they're heavily armed and prone to violence.

Ohio, Indiana, rural Michigan, rural Illinois, Wisconsin, all of it just... terrible.

(The Plains states aren't much better but at least they're emptier.)

[–] BeamBrain@hexbear.net 29 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You can find a midwest city that's at least alright, but the small towns are absolute living death.

[–] Zoot@reddthat.com 19 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Good of you to leave out Minnesota. Almost had to grab some pitchforks.

[–] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 18 points 1 year ago

I’m from the midwest and if I was absolutely forced to stay here for the rest of my life, Minnesota is the goat. Chicago’s cool too but I’m poor as shit so I can’t live there.

[–] itappearsthat@hexbear.net 17 points 1 year ago

It isn't bad if you like peace & quiet with lots of sky. However, you have to be very self-motivated to avoid a slowly deteriorating mental state because you absolutely will not get any motivation to do anything from the people around you.

Wow imagine the horror of people just enjoying their lives without a sense of imperial destiny

[–] HeavenAndEarth@hexbear.net 37 points 1 year ago

On that brit mindset

[–] Hexbear2@hexbear.net 32 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Yeah, I grew up in the corn belt. First, he's not from there, so they are going to be polite and have polite conversation. Because that's what you do with company, especially weird-o strangers who want to talk about white nationalism. Most of these people aren't as dumb as this chud might think, they're probably wondering is this guy is some sort scam artist or federal agent trying to rope them into something. Second, these are salt of the earth working class family farmers that grow corn and soybeans, these people spend their lives working, like, never going on a vacation, having a farm, and having a second job, and working until they're like 70-75 and physically can't work anymore. They don't have time for such bullshit.

[–] Tunnelvision@hexbear.net 11 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Listen bud I’d love to indulge in your fantasy of imperial plunder, but uh this here corn and soybeans is callin.

[–] Dudewitbow@lemmy.zip 31 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

we talking about the Squidward moves out episode right?

[–] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 10 points 1 year ago

That's the one.

[–] SaniFlush@hexbear.net 28 points 1 year ago

It's not a "hyperborea" unless you're worshiping Apollo and singing songs which attract swans.

[–] Egon@hexbear.net 22 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

Lmao "I moved to my imaginary white paradise and the people living there were perfectly content" is a hell of a way to abandon white nationalism.

Like if I had the idiotic belief about homogeneity being the prime decisor for a good community, and I then go to a homogeneous community that feels like The Shire, I don't think I'd suddenly abandon my worldview.
I'd just assume that's what people everywhere else were fighting for.

I mean I'm glad he stopped being a racist and I know it's not a logical belief, but it's just funny to me, because shouldn't that experience have confirmed what he believed? Or does he, like those weird yakub people, believe white people inherently wants to rule over others (only it's a good thing)?
Imagine finding a place you consider akin to The Shire and being saddened.

[–] Great_Leader_Is_Dead@hexbear.net 14 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I mean I'm glad he stopped being a racist

I doubt he stopped being a racist.

Maybe part of it is there is no obvious people to dominate/feel superior to? Then the contradiction of a perceived superiority due to the posters ethnicity would languish because there's nothing readily available in their environment to feel superior to.

[–] ZoomeristLeninist@hexbear.net 20 points 1 year ago

lol what a loser. also i moved to the midwest a few years back for cost of living and was worried it would be nothing but insufferable mayos but it’s more diverse than i expected. did this POS just google “whitest city in the us” and move there?

basically resembled hobbits

So... a peaceful society where people just garden and drink beer all day? That sounds awesome! But where in the Midwest did this dork go that's never been the vibes I got.
