For everyone that has tickets to the games, don’t sell them and just don’t go. Speak with your wallet. If no one buys overpriced beers and foam fingers they get crushed! Make that stadium a WNBA game empty.

Make the McCaskies lose their shirts with all the lost sales. Speaking of shirts, buy nothing that’s supports them until they fire that useless coaching staff!

I’m genuinely curious because as a casual observer, every time I watch it, there’s something else that doesn’t make sense. Who here has coached moderately high level football and can explain what was going on there?

Hutchinson is one of the top edge rushers in the league but you leave your rookie RT on him with zero help in a clear passing scenario so the rush can just go with zero concern of a run play.

The TE is split out a little bit on the left side, ie the side opposite of Hutchinson and then makes zero contact with the DE before running a half hearted shallow out route.

The RB is to Fields left and clearly isn’t assigned any pass protection responsibilities before running another useless route into to flat.

Then you have Fields take a 7 step drop and, clearly all of his initial reads are on the left side of the field so he doesn’t even see Hutchinson coming.

There were like 26 seconds left in the game. Why not put the TE or the RB, or crazy…both of them on the same side as Hutchinson? Or if the RB are going to run useless routes, put another WR in the game to run something vertical? Or roll the pocket away from one of the best edge rushers in the game with one of the most mobile QBs in the game? Or at least put Justin’s reads to the right so he can keep an eye on his super isolated rookie RT? Or just do a 3/5 step drop to something quick?

This post isn’t just to pile on Getsy, but the entire playcall seems backwards to me. And the routes by the TE and RB were essentially useless so it’s pretty close to playing 9v11. I’m interested if there’s any rational explanation from someone that has coached or even played the game at a decent level.

Definitely doesn’t have to be one of these three. Anyone who’s donned a Bears uniform that could lead our team better. (No, you can’t say Cody Parkey.)

If we're going to tank the season anyway, isn't a game where the bears both demonstrated an ability to keep pace with one of the better teams in the league and also won a greater chance at a better draft pick the optimal result? It's not easy to show flashes of competency and skill and also game the draft system. Also, as a side benefit, the team is getting a lot of attention as they are finding more creative and entertaining ways to lose with gusto. The Chicago Bears front office might be pretty savvy after all.

(This is not a Poles burner account)

I watched Jim Harbaugh when he piloted the Niners for a couple of years. He had some success, in fact a lot of it. But he couldn't win the big one, even with all the talent he had. While he's incredibly better than the current HC, I'm not convinced he's the guy for the Bears. I think we should keep options open.

I’m an open Poles critic, but it looks like Wright is a stud. Besides the final strip sack, he held his own against a top 5 DE.

Jason Mckie mentioned afterward that that Wright was playing hurt which is even wilder.

Davis looked rusty (rightfully so) but it really does look like we are a good center away.

I honestly think the whole staff needs to go, this isn't news to anyone in Chicago. I think we have all been on this bus for a while now but this week made me mad at a coach for the first time ever.

I understand there are growing pains whenever anyone gets promoted to a new position with, but our own coach seems to not show the exact things he is preaching. Flus does nothing but talk about accountability and yet rarely does on his own.

Say what you want about other struggling coaches in the league, at least those guys seem to practice what they preach. Belichick talks about being tough and pushing through and he is a rock rolling down a hill to a goal. Ron Rivera talks about needing to get to the ball and that is the only thing that matters. First thing on the podium he says what he thinks he can do to help his guys achieve that. Staley talks about needing to take chances to make something happen and his play calling shows it. He takes big chances that almost always whiff.

This is what I am mad about and why I honestly would prefer Getsy, who also needs to be fired, to lead the team the rest of the season. At least Getsy says he messes up and says what he needs to improve. If you preach accountability as the main thing you are looking for in players, this is the bare minimum you should do. That kind of leadership will absolutely get you fired as a manager of Chili's much less a NFL head coaching gig.

Okay, rant over, have a nice day gentlepeople.

So I’m guessing the surprise he talked about last week was losing in the final three minutes when you’re up to scores…

The Lions didn’t start yesterdays game well at all. It looked like the Bears defense had their number. But despite the fact that we forced 3 turnovers on them, they scored 29 offensive points.

Johnson was able to play call 4 drives that went for touchdowns, and of those 4 3 of them happening in less than 180 seconds. That’s crazy to think of.

The Bears should hire him and let him decide if he wants to keep fields or get a different QB. He knows more about football than anyone in this sub.

Give your dream coach hire, most realistic hire, and a dark horse for the Bears job next year…

To listen to the crowd chanting “FIRE FLUS!” and “FIRE GETSY!” Along with all of the booing to follow, throughout the game. We deserve it.

I keep seeing posts about how eberflus needs to get fired ASAP and I agree. My only question is, who would be the interim head coach? Also, which coaches are you all looking at for 2024? I keep hearing harbough but I don’t think that’s realistic. Also with the current standings we hold 1 and 4. I wonder what impact the coaching hire will have on what the bears do in the draft

He did everything he was supposed to do and had us with a 12 point lead with 4 mins left, and the defense went and gave up two tds. Also one of our wrs dropped a game clinching pass after he had fumbled earlier in the game. And he did it all without the thumb in his throwing hand being one 100%. There is nothing a Caleb Williams or Drake Maye could do to elevate this team with all the holes and terrible coaching. Poles will most likely take a QB just to cover his ass and give himself a few more years but it will set us back a few more years and maybe longer if they bust l.

#1 Carolina @ #6 Tennessee #12 LA Rams @ #2 Arizona #3 New England @ #5 NY Giants

Bears (#4) @ the Dobbs led Vikings

Four of the top 6 teams could win this next week. And with Tennessee starting Levis, the Panthers actually have a shot.

Matt Eberflus is now 0-9 in the division and 6-22 as a HC. We all know that the owners have no idea what they are doing and don’t have the balls to fire a coach mid-season. And even though I am a fan of Poles, I really am worried that he would retain him if we somehow find ourselves around 6 wins. Kevin Warren is the only man that can save this organization. It will be very interesting in a few months to see how much power he actually has
