He's not even a symptom, he's just an accurate image of the system without its mask on. He is the American ruling class, he is the average American politician, he's just also too much of a boorish lout to hide what that really means, all the rot and cruelty and predation that the entirety of the ruling class is animated by but will deny to the bitter end and refuse to acknowledge even when it breaches their carefully trained masks.

The funny thing is that I’m pretty sure the average person has no idea or cares. I remember being in Upstate New York and all the tv’s in buildings were playing CNN or Fox and heavily covering the trial.
Average person didn’t know what it was about or cared. They were too busy talking about Taylor Swift shit. Only people who had an interest in politics or older people who spent hours watching those channels cared.
