Root beer. It's insidious.
Kutztown Soda Work's Birch Beer by far is my favorite soda. Luckily it is really difficult to find outside of central PA, i am already far too overweight.
Excellent stuff I really miss that but no longer have reason to goto that part of PA
Kutztown soda, Clover farm's icy Tea, Unique Pretzels, so much fantastic regional food out of Berks County.
Dr Pepper, no contest! This past year my company had a change of ceo and the new guy is a little less health conscious so now they stock Dr Pepper!
Jarritos Tamarind is outstanding, also one of my kids favorites!
Lime Diet Coke is back in stores!
Still looking for that legendary Birch Beer I had when I was a kid
Zevia. For those not in the loop, it's a beverage brand specializing in refgined sugar-free drinks. They were started with just soda, but have gone on to make other things.
Oh, and for the Orange Cream, they apparently have an Orange Creamsicle flavor, but if you have a nearby Sprouts, you can get it there.
Zevia sodas consist of just carbonated water, stevia, natural flavors, and sometimes citric acid and caffeine for a few of their flavors.
Vanilla Cola. I don't buy American soda anymore but Coca Cola...I haven't found any of the Vanilla variant in a couple years now anyways.
Vanilla coke is the bomb and I'll be forever resentful that they made it so scarce. There was a brief moment where it came back for me, but it's gone again now.
I still drink it tho (as a zero cal) since it's basically just Cola of your choice mixed 50/50 with a clear cream soda.
NOS.
The only thing I hate about it is the price. This shit is expensive (like $5/can) 😩
Creme Soda. Oddly enough the cheapest ones seem to be the best in my opinion.
Local Kombucha. Yes, I am Canadian.
I like to get the ones with "cane sugar" not corn syrup, otherwise its root beer - probably the only one I'm not too picky about brand.
I don't drink sugarized soda, but I lump Fresca into the soda category.
Lol, fresca is soda. In OP's example they gave a zero calorie soda
i used to like soda, with sugar. but i stopped. i do drink non-sugar varieties, but nothing worth noting. i try to avoid diet, but will try the non-aspartame variety.
Monster Reverse Orange Dreamsicle. Worth every calorie and the liver damage.
My favorite now are home fermented, kvass, tepache, ginger beer. Tepache my favorite of those.
Coke Zero, I try not to buy it much but still really like it.
Barqs red creme soda, or birch beer
Barqs makes a birch beer now?
No, I'm talking about just in general
You got me really excited for a national birch beer.
Bondi Cola from Australia.
No longer produced, contained ginseng, and named after Australia's most famous beach Bondi (bon - dye).
Belvoir Rose & Elderflower Cordial, I love floral flavors and it's so interesting and complex. It's perfect watered down on a hot summer day or mixed with some white wine and ice and I've never seen anything else like it for sale. Unfortunately, hard to come by where I live.
I like ginger, so I also enjoy Reed's Extra Ginger Ale. Most commercially available ginger ales don't have much or any actual ginger in them, and use artificial flavorings, but Reeds is legit and seriously gingery.
For a go-to soda to have on a regular basis I like Ollipop low sugar sodas, especially their ginger lemon flavor.
Baking
Ginger beer. It's a great drink, and it's helpful if you have a tummy ache.

Manhattan Special Espresso soda. The original energy drink. Three bottles will give you palpitations.
Root beer.
Sarsaparilla is also great, if you can find it.
I struggle finding good ones. Too many of them are syrupy sweet and don't have that minty bite.
Patrolling the Mojave wasteland almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
Bawls.
I like the soda.
I hate calling in companies to ask if it's in stock. "Excuse me do you have any Bawls?"
Those limited Cokes keep breaking my heart. So many of them have been good. The Spice and the Rosalia have been my favs, but the space flavored one and the League of Legends ones were good too.
I also like the Pepsi and Mt Dew with real sugar when I can find them, and Cheerwine also needs wider distribution.
Despite what it sounds like, I don't drink massive amounts of soda, I just like trying the new flavors and regional stuff as I find it.
Dr Pepper. And Vanilla Coke!
Kofola , it's less sweet than the others and imo better taste(more mild/herbal?) . hate how every soda has to be ultra sweet.
Yeah the sugar content is too much. I've been looking at making my own sodas but I'm not sure if I can take on another hobby right now.
You could use soda stream to make the soda water and add syrup as you like. That's what I do when I want just something fissy.
Birch beer, followed by Dr. Pepper and the cranberry ginger ale.
Lime soda with salt. It's available across India. It's so refreshing.
There are slightly salty carbonated electrolyte soda drinks all over Asia. I wish we had them here.
There are at least 100 Plus different types to try.
I first had 100 Plus while I was sick as a dog in Yangon and it was at least 38C. The family I was staying with hooked me up with 100Plus. It was like a religious experience.
Oettinger Malz
There was this green apple flavored soda that was basically candy but I loved it
Jarritos and it isn't close. The Mandarin flavour. Mexican sugar is next level.
I also think Coke itself is 'underrated' I would go so far as to say it's an elixir. Hungover? Need a pick-me-up? Just want a nice drink with dinner? It's insanely good, probably why it got so popular in the first place. You can say the same for any sugary soft drink though.
I'm practically addicted to Jarritos mandarin and mango flavors. It's hard to buy the 1.5L and not finish them in a day or two, so I just don't buy them anymore. I need to try the guava flavor some day.
1.5l isn't available in my country, but if it was, I'd drink it in one sitting haha
Jarritos is good, but sooooo much sugar
That's what makes it so good haha, I only have it as a treat thankfully it isn't widely available in my country
Jarritos grapefruit, except it's too sweet. That flavor is amazing, I just have to cut it with lime and some soda water (or better, lime and tequila for the best Paloma)
