I love the euphemism that she "slept with" 583 guys. I mean that's a lotta naps in 6 hours! Takes me at least 20 minutes to drift off.

It's bizarre that US uses "sleeping with" to mean "had sex with". Readers clearly understand, she uses the word "sex" in her quotes, but the magazine/site insists on using that bizarre euphemism.
The same turn of phrase exists in e.g. German.
I don't think that that's very uncommon. When one "goes to the bathroom", it's understood that this is a euphemism for urinating or defecating, not just hanging out there.
Agreed. It just seems like a weird editorial decision. Maybe it's because I'm not a regular US reader, or I live in a different country, but it seems to slightly obfuscate what happened.

I think that's reasonable when when calculating an average.
