I guess if they don't need humans working for them, they don't need humans buying from them, either.

I can't order thermal paste with my chips!? Tomato sauce is just going to ruin the texture of the chip.

I’ve found the acidity adds to the conductivity of the chips

A few months ago I was looking at the menu of a vietnamese restaurant on UberEats. Every description for every item was AI generated (it had a little disclaimer informing you of this). I wonder if the restaurant was even aware of this? Do they get a choice?

The descriptions listed ingredients. I feel like it could be a liability issue if the AI generated descriptions leaves off an ingredient that could be an allergen for someone.

edit: found an example:

Yep, I hate that. Like, I want to know if this sesame chicken comes with broccoli. I don't care if generic sesame chicken does!

That's an insane use of AI. When will people realise that the machine is very good at coming up with things that sound true without any regard for what things are true?

If the people running the place couldn't be fucked writing a single sentence to describe their dish, I'm ordering elsewhere.

Yeah, makes me wonder how much effort they put into the cooking...

I reviewed an ad for a company recently and noticed they used AI to write the entire ad. They didn’t even proofread it before showing it to me because it was full of errors and it didn’t make sense half the time.

Fun fact:

To make a computer chip palatable to denizens of most English speaking countries outside the US, you must trigger the HALT AND CATCH FIRE condition, at which point it will transition into a computer crisp.

LOL, one of my favorite new terms: "AI-Powered".

Its like "smart TV"

Both translate to "don't buy me"

This craps everywhere now man. A friend was looking up paint colours for her house for the biggest paint company in the country, and the one she chose was recommended to give her home a murky and rancid feel. Like at that point, don't give individual colours descriptions at all!

Sounds like a law suit opportunity for food allergies
