I am, of course, disgusted with this choice of Super Bowl halftime performer.
The obvious choice was to have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce get married during the Super Bowl halftime, during which Taylor will not take the Kelce name, killing everyone watching over the age of 65.
Travis takes the name Swift. Conservative men melt down so badly that one of them goes out and blows Erika Kirk's head off.
Then we'd get "he followed Taylor Swift news, so he must have been a trans leftist!!"

The even more obvious choice was to have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enter a civil union during the Super Bowl halftime, during which Taylor will not take the Kelce name while also announcing she is 4 months pregnant and the unborn child should be referred to as "they/them", killing nearly 40% of all viewers.

Hmm, this got me to look up the demonym for people from Barbados. I hoped it would be something interesting, but the official one is pretty boring: Barbadians. But, the unofficial one is a bit interesting: Bajans. I thought it would be pronounced like the Spanish "baja", but apparently it's "Bay - jenz". Which is a bit cool. Not as cool as their flag, but still cool.

I remember being amazed to learn Puerto Rico is part of the US... In 4th grade.
Yeah, I learned this about that age when it was announced that our state (SD) was 51st in the nation for teacher pay after PR. That's also about the time a neighboring county had the highest suicide rate in the world. Good ol' Midwestern values.
It boggles my mind how many people still don't know PR is part of the US.
The president of Puerto Rico should be removed from office! For good this time!

He loves his country so much he wants to defend it from ignorant outsiders, but isn't even aware of who has citizenship and won't explain why this didn't have any bearing on past musical performances.

As a dum rural American that knows territorial citizenship is a thing (with wonky caveats not applicable to Puerto Rico) you’d be surprised how many Americans in general have zero clue pr is a part of the us. My last vaca there was fun but after I was back the amount of people that asked about passports was too dam high. And this is in a rather educated metro area.
I wonder if the FCC will come down harder on this than the Janet Jackson nipple slip
