Can we stop with these ridiculous hopium posts? The cards are not gona trade us kyler lol

Cutler was underappreciated in Chicago. He was never the guy we hoped he would be after the trade, but he was good for us. At the very least, we were competitive with Cutler, and we were able to (for the only time in my Bears life) see a competent offense and QB play.

As the years go by, I'd imagine a lot of Bears fans have come to realize we did Cutler dirty. The misery, particularly at the QB position, since he retired has been brutal.

Side Note: You are either delusional or a moron if you think Dak, Kyler or Herbert are getting traded by their respective organizations. The NFL isn't the trade machine in Madden lol

The people that suggest the Bears make moves as if the NFL functioned like the trade machine in Madden drive me insane

Its not a question at this point.

The game last night was a microcosm of Justin's time here. Some flash plays that leave you wanting more.

But ultimately when we need a big throw to convert on third and long to move he chains, he can't do it consistently. When we need him to be a difference maker in the redzone and punch the ball into the endzone, he can't do it. When we need a drive to win the game late in the 4th quarter, majority of the time he can't do it.

I know he technically led a game winning field goal drive last night. But let's be honest, he was fortunate to get multiple chances at it despite fumbling twice late in the 4th. He's only been able to do it 3 times in 3 seasons.

As badly as I wanted Justin to work out, it's just not going to happen. In his third year he hasn't developed the skills necessary to play QB at the NFL level. So with the opportunity to take a highly regarded QB prospect at the top of the draft, we have to move on.

I mean I agree this roster isn't great. But there's a lot more talent on this roster than a 3 win team. Coaching has directly cost us at least two wins this year (Denver and Detroit)

As the years go by I wonder if Rodgers didn't intentionally spoil Favres jersey retirement. It's one of the only times we beat him and it almost seems too perfect lol

But certainly that is one of my favorite Bears memories because we weren't supposed to win that game

Actually at this point I'm not trying to win a game. What's the point?

Counter Argument: The season is long since over. Why not let these fools lead us to a top 5 pick?

The only way I think it makes sense to trade the pick is if it's with NE or Arizona. Pick up some extra picks and take whichever of Maye or Williams doesn't get taken.

Obviously that's not realistic. Also it would depend on how close Poles thinks Williams and Maye are

There's literally zero chance of the Chargers trading Herbert lol. You don't voluntarily put your team back into QB hell when you get lucky and find a young franchise QB.

That being said if I entertain this miracle situation for the sake of argument, I would easily trade both of our first rounders this year for Herbert. Not even a question in my opinion

Regardless of how the rest of this season plays out, I'll root for Fields wherever he goes. He seems like a genuinely good dude and I feel like we ruined him.

Why not just, the Bears will have an interception today? If you are so confident about a specific player might as well place a prop bet lol
