So did the Bills. Yet getsy/flus have 9 lives apparently.

Section 433 row 31. High up, but the price is right and view is great once you've made the climb. Ideally for someone who has never been to a game. Figure I will give to someone rather than try to squeeze a few bucks out by selling on Stubhub.

You guys know why. Let's HITS him where it hurts.

It would make the holidays more special.

Lance Briggs is on my flight. I didn’t want to bother the guy so I gave him the nod.

We all know know there is going to be a run in the off-season on the top HC candidates, and the bears are going to be competing for one of them.

But who do we have that takes over tommorow ? Is it someone in building ? Ditka ?

So, I don't have a horse in the race. Eberflus and the rest of the staff have to go, and his comments after the game were not great. Fields is a guy the team can compete with and I don't think the team needs to draft a QB. He's on thin ice, but he's not "awful" yet.

With that being said, DJ Moore, one of the best receivers in the game and arguably the best YAC receiver in the league, was open. When I say open, I don't mean NFL "open," I mean that this man had 5 yards of space in every direction "open."

I submit the following video linked here at the timestamp for the play itself.

I also would like to provide a few screenshots. Here is the first, where Fields still has the ball. In this screen grab, we see he isn't even looking DJ's way, even though DJ is literally just a small shift of vision away from the route Fields was focusing on.

This second screenshot shows Fields as he released the ball. As we can see, DJ appears to be pretty open, but the decision to unleash the dragon had already been made. There is no way in hell that Fields actually went through his progression. He never looked at DJ.

Finally, I present this screenshot, which shows just how open DJ actually was. This is the damning shot, in my opinion. This is after the throw, while the camera is panning to the deep receiver, hence the blurred image. This shows DJ with 5 yards of space between him and the only defender who could make a play.

All Fields had to do was hit DJ in stride at the "3" in 30, which was about 15 yards (based on where Fields dropped to) in distance. That 3 is 13-14 yards from the sideline, too, so there was tons of running room for DJ to gain the 5 yards he'd need to secure the 1st down.

Fields overthrew Scott. People keep clamoring about how it was a "perfect" ball. It wasn't. He overthrew it. He also threw it into double coverage of sorts. Scott beat his primary defender, but the safety absolutely was right there. I don't know what anyone wants or expects Scott to be able to do here. There is maybe the slightest of stutter steps, potentially, but I see a guy extending himself as much as he can to make the play, but coming up short because the ball was thrown too far. And really, how often do receivers make the catch when outstretched as far as they can be? We just saw a receiver for KC drop a similar ball that was better thrown.

The Bears needed a first down. I'm not opposed to going deep, but when seeing just how open DJ Moore actually was, Fields really dropped the ball in extending the drive and allowing the team to get a win. The defense in the 4th didn't do any favors by any means, and I don't blame Fields for the loss, but I do blame him for not getting us the win with a pass to the wide open #1 receiver. He didn't even look at DJ as an option, which is appalling, quite honestly. I don't want to crucify Fields here, but I guarantee you that he's going to see this in the film room this week (if not already today) and come to the same conclusion.

Yet they’re 9 and 1. Hurts has weapons, an OLine, and a defense. No one is ever clamoring for Philly to draft a QB.

He’s 15/9 TD/INT (has 9 rushing TDs but many are the tush push) with 4 fumbles.

Couldn't even throw for 200 yards.

Someone said “we’re wasting a great qb”. Yeah, two super bowls, appearing in a third, a deep playoff run every year, and Mahomes setting records left and right, absolute waste of talent. Another guy said “we fucking suck”. If the chiefs ever actually suck these guys are in for it

Just thought it was kinda funny. No hate to chiefs fans, they’re just a touch spoiled.

“Mahomes is awesome and I want to have coitus with him.”

I’m afraid if the Bears win a couple games down the stretch they will bring this idiot Eberflus back, but at the same time I want to see the team play good football and get rid of this losing culture. I’m tired of this dumpster fire organization putting me in these type of conundrums.

I'm curious how far off he is because I'm thinking he hasn't been as bad as some people think.

I think it goes without saying that this coaching staff is ass.

Having said that, does anybody have an opinion on who they think our next coach should be?

A quick recap if you haven't seen the presser, but essentially Eberflus says that there was a more conservative play to be made on 3rd down and that it falls on Justin and the offense. Many fans find his lack of accountability for the conservative runs up the middle on 1st/2nd down confusing. So here are my thoughts. Let me know what you think.

It's actually incredibly fitting for a play like that to have so large an impact on this game and here's why. It's evident that conservative playcalling got the defense into trouble and lost the Bears the game in the 4th. And in his last presser, you seem to have Eberflus doubling down on the conservative runs on first and second down.

But then we have Justin, who everyone knows is a big game hunter. He saw an opportunity, and took the shot, executed his part of the play perfectly, but the receiver misplayed it. Now, because it didn't work out, that's supposed to be the scapegoat in Eberflus's mind because it wasn't the conservative, 'higher probability' play.

This is just one small example of the larger issue I think we're seeing here. This front office and coaching staff are neutering players. Square peg/round holing players trying to get them to fit a scheme and not play to their strengths.

Adam Hoge, on CHGO today talked about how he saw Getsy talking to fields before that drive. And he basically said, and I agree, that that conversation went one of two ways. The bad and most likely way, "Justin go out there and just try to get a first down, no turnovers."

Or the good way, "go out there and be you, let it rip." That would mirror Justin's character that we heard earlier in the year of just being himself and going out and playing. But time and time again we see that this coaching staff are afraid to take the chances at the right moments and it's holding this team back, and on top of that Eberflus won't take accountability for it either.

It's not hard to say, "Justin threw a great ball, and Tyler has got to catch that, but I have faith in both those guys and that's why we did it, but at the end of the day that's on me. We could have been more conservative but I'm out here trying to win."

One sentence and you'd never bat an eye at the offensive play-calling in that series, but this staff just can't help themselves from the lying and misdirection. They're trying to upkeep a facade of perfection that just doesn't show on the football field.

That's the post. Fire these coaches. Fire the McCaskeys too, while we're at it. We, the fans, should take collective ownership of this team. Like the Packers. Except not a Ponzi scheme to bilk Wisconsin morons out of their money, but for real.
